The commercial spaceship Nostromo receives a distress signal from a distant planet while returning to Earth. A creature hidden inside one of the eggs attacks an explorer when a crew of three discovers a chamber on the planet containing thousands of eggs. No one on board the ship has any idea what will happen when the alien parasite implanted inside its unfortunate host (other) is born.
Alien Cubed, where we get a look at the square root of all evil! Then I'm just making things up. The point is that a lot of decisions were made on the fly in this movie, which was put together in such a haphazard and self-destructive way that it's really impressive that it worked out so well. That's not to say it turned out great, though...
